Hellen, from Moroto, was hit by a vehicle while she was out collecting water for her family. Widowed in 2012, she is raising two kids on her own. There is no work and her son collects scraps to sell for money while Hellen goes into town to beg. 
 

Hellen's shelter is 4,000 UGS (approx. $1.12 USD) per day. 2,000 for her and 1,000 per child. 
 

Help us sponsor her child's education and medical and rehabilitative care for a prosthetic leg so she can work.
